Terrestrial Convergence #1 (c.2013)

Painted on paper and mounted to a wood panel, the work is cradled in a frame of exotic wood, its outer edges bound with copper inlays. The metal, not merely decorative, becomes part of the frame’s very architecture—solid, grounding, and deliberate. Within, the abstract layers rise and fall like shifting tides, their quiet motion held in place by this sculptural boundary, as if the frame itself were keeping the dance from spilling into the world beyond.
